An Integrated Life is an 18 lesson audio course (think: a podcast that you can keep coming back to!) outlining a framework for you to grow deeper in your faith, take authority in your home, and gain clarity in your work - all for the kingdom of God.
Most of all, this course is about integrating your faith, home and work to work beautifully together.
But there’s tension there, right? Tension in trying to grow deeper in our faith on a daily basis (it’s hard to prioritize when we are exhausted and out of time) while managing our laundry, meal plans, clutter, and children with a to do list that never ends, while also desiring to do good work for God’s kingdom.
Let’s just pause a second : that is a LOT.
As believers, we deeply desire to live a life of faith that honors the Lord, knowing we are confidently doing the right thing. But we are constantly being told DIFFERENT things: “You are smart! Strong! Capable! Have a strong career and lean into the gifts God has given you!”
And at the same time we hear, “The highest calling you can have is to lay down your life and be a stay at home mom! It’s the most important job and the greatest gift - and your kids will only be little for so long!”
We’re left living in this tension, asking ourselves…
“What the heck is true? What is good? What is best for me and my family?”
How do we lead lives that are free of guilt, confidently showing up as the woman God has called us to be without neglecting one of these important areas of our lives : our faith, our home, and our work?
I have felt this tension in a very real way.
For 12 years I ran a wedding photography business that was one of the top in the Southeast. I had a team of photographers working for me, and I gave this business my all. When my husband Will and I started our family (in year 9 of the business) and had 3 kiddos back to back (and we’re now about to have our fourth!), I realized I identified as a “boss babe” for so long that I felt lost when it came to being a mom or thinking about my home.
There was a lot to manage.
There was a lot of guilt.
I wasn’t sure how to best move forward.
But immense peace flooded my heart when God started speaking to me and I realized a few key things:

I am a Believer, Jesus follower, Spirit-filled Christian. This influences EVERY part of my life.

I am an Entrepreneur and Hard Worker... but this should never take away from my home life, and my work should change with my season of life.

I am a Wife, Mama, Home Manager… and I don’t have to downplay these roles if I’m an entrepreneur. In fact, my work should help me be the best version of these roles!
How did I do this?
I began to practice rhythms in my Faith, my Home, and my Work that kept me grounded, as well as setting seasonal “rocks” to focus on in each of those areas of my life.
And I want to share with you exactly what I do!

My honest thoughts
…are that this course is not perfect. I pulled these lessons together while pregnant with my fourth baby, because it’s been on my heart for a long time to do so. While it feels like I could re-edit them, ask more questions, and create something that’s more perfect… I know that will come in time. And I know that right now, more than anything, I just want to share the lessons that have blessed me, our family, and our lives so much.
So here I am, doing just that. Releasing these audio lessons in hopes that one or two will change your life. I have the honor of speaking scripture over you, telling you stories and giving you practical tools for an integrated life.
