October 2019 Goals

October is one of my favorite months of the year. Weather begins to actually cool down here in NC, and it’s the beginning of the end : it’s officially the start of Q4, the pumpkins come out, we begin discussing holiday plans, and I don’t know about you - but life starts to get a little nuts, in the best way.

This October is really significant for me because it marks a lot of “lasts.” I photograph my last wedding on October 26th, I had my last quarterly planning day for NRP, I’ll speak at a Film Photography Workshop alongside some of the best photographers in the world, and I’ll clean out the NRP studio and begin converting it to an AirBnB, so it’s the last month I’ll work alongside Olivia.

Seasons are beautiful and good, but I definitely feel them so much more this year. My hope for this month : to finish strong. To feel every emotion. To be present and live fully awake to all the beautiful change that’s happening in and around me. I hope you do, too.
